BI is hosting David Taylor, a bike mechanic of 15 years and 19 years in the outdoor industry guru! He got into cycling when he was 15 years old after a running injury turned problematic. Cycling became his new form of exercise, and a new found passion. David started working in bike shops shortly there after, and cycling access drove the majority of his life decisions. He picked his college based on trail access, worked at a bike shop through college, and went on to manage it. After moving to Utah, he worked at White Pine Touring until he decided to pursue a career in the outdoor industry. David still has a soft spot in his heart for wrenching and has a small bike shop in his garage for friends and family coined “Community Cycles.”
