In this presentation Rodger illustrates the size of the universe by representing our Sun as a basketball in comparison to scale models of the planets that comprise our Solar System. The scale models of the planets are then shown digitally on the Solitude trail map illustrating just how empty space really is. Rodger also discusses distant stars, nebula and galaxies.
